The 2021 Directors Forum: Reconnect - Reinvent

Welcome to the registration platform for the 2021 Directors Forum, that will be held on 4-5 November 2021 in La cité des sciences et de l'industrie, Paris - venue of Universcience in Paris.

Please note that this event is open to Directors and Senior Managers from Ecsite Full Member institutions that have paid their 2021 membership fee.

The registration fee of €220 excl.VAT includes participation to the Directors Forum: Reconnect - Reinvent sessions & activities, coffee breaks and meals.

We are sharing these details with the organiser: Universcience, Paris for the purpose of organising this event. We will add your email to a mailing list dedicated to updates about the 2021 Directors Forum. This mailing list is handled by MailChimp. We will delete this MailChimp list no later than 6 months after the end of the event, and keep a copy for archive on the Ecsite server. General Conditions
Whilst the programme for the 2021 Directors Forum is correct at the time of registration, Ecsite reserves the right for the organisers to amend the programme at any time, in order to better suit their needs and requirements.

You may be photographed or recorded  at the event and your image used in brochures, emails, films and on the Ecsite website. Should you not wish to have your image used, please contact the Ecsite team

An accommodation offer for this event has been arranged at The ReMIX Hotel. Participants wishing to take advantage of this offer are solely responsible for booking their own accommodation, for which charges are to be paid separately, directly to the hotel

Neither Ecsite nor the hosting institution are responsible for injuries to participants during the event.

Participants are responsible for any damage they cause to premises during the event.

In case of proven professional error/fault, the liability of Ecsite and hosts is limited to the withdrawal of the invoice. Any dispute arising from the execution of this invoice will be settled under Belgian law. The courts of law of the district of Brussels are exclusively competent to take cognisance of any possible disputes

Covid-19 safety regulations

Participants are obliged to follow current social distancing and sanitary safety measures in France. Detailed and updated information, for example about the use of face masks, will be sent to participants a week before the event, on 28 October 2021.

Terms of Payment
Ecsite will send you your invoice up to three working days after you have registered for the Directors Forum. Please note that although Ecsite will send the invoice, the invoice itself will be in the name of La cite des sciences et de l’industrie. Please pay upon receipt, and no later than 27 October 2021 by bank transfer. Any possible bank charges related to the payment are to be paid by the customer.

Cancellation and Substitutions Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing to up to 27 October 2021 at 23.59 CEST. After this date, no refund will be granted and full payment remains due.

No refund will be granted for participants failing to oblige to current Covid-19 safety precautions in France, especially not presenting a necessary valid proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test result upon entering the venue.

Substitutions are allowed with written authorisation of the registrant who is unable to attend and provided that the new attendee is a Senior Manager. All substitutions must be made in writing to

Ecsite shall not be liable for any disruption either to the event’s or attendees' travel arrangements due to force majeure events and no refunds will be made, either in part or full, for cancellations due to such circumstances. Circumstances amounting to force majeure include any event which could not be foreseen or forestalled, not even with all due care, including, but not limited to, war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, volcanic ash clouds and all similar event

Ecsite will receive personal data of the participants. Ecsite will process the received personal data as data controller. For the execution of the contract or to comply with legal obligations, the personal data may be transferred to selected third parties. Ecsite ensures that the received personal data of the participants are being processed and transferred in accordance with the provisions and principles of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC ( “GDPR”). According to the GDPR, the participant shall always have the right to request data access, inspection, data rectification or erasure, information, data portability, objection, limitation to the processing of the data relating to him and to be forgotten upon written request, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
